Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002
This act places a responsibility on public authorities like SEPA
to:
- improve its information management
- make as much information available as possible
- assume that everything is available to the public unless it can
demonstrate good reasons why information should be withheld.
You can request any information, regardless of who you are,
where you live or what you want the information for. We must
respond to your request within 20 working days.
Most requests will cost nothing but we are entitled to charge
depending on how much work is involved. See our Charging policy for further
details.
