About the proposed facility:

On 14th November 2008, SEPA received an application from Viridor Waste Management Limited to operate an energy from waste facility at its site near Dunbar. This application is currently being considered by SEPA.

A previous application, submitted by Viridor in January 2008, was withdrawn due to a change in the proposed throughput of waste.
