Solvent Emissions Directive

The provisions of the Solvent Emissions Directive (1999/13/EC) are to be enacted through amendments to the PPC regulations. The New Solvent Emissions (Scotland) Regulations 2004 came into force on the 28th January 2004. They are available from the HMSO website. To access the Regulations, please click here.

The Scottish Government has created a guidance document that details the provisions of the directive, and the manner in which it will be implemented.
