Where we do not yet have any specific Sectoral Technical
Guidance (usually because the BREF has not yet been prepared), the
General Sector Guidance is designed to be used in conjunction with
existing technical guidance such as that prepared for IPC or waste
regulation.
Just like the Sectoral Technical Guidance, it leads the
applicant through the application process and covers, in
particular, those aspects not always included in previous guidance
such as energy, accidents, noise etc.
