The quality of Scotland's environment affects us all. It is crucial to our health, our quality of life and the wellbeing of our diverse Scottish communities. It plays a vital role in our businesses and our economic competitiveness and is intertwined with our sense of national identity and local pride. But our Scottish environment is also important on a global scale, not least in the contribution we make towards issues of international concern such as climate change.
SEPA's State of the Environment Report for 2006 was launched on Monday 2nd October at a seminar held at the Edinburgh International Conference centre. The programme and the presentations given at the conference are available to view here.
