| Scottish Pollutant Release Inventory Reporting : General Guidance Note (Closed 31st Jan 2005) Please note that the new general guidance note to assist industrial operators in making their Scottish Pollutant Release Inventory (SPRI) returns has been placed on the Scottish Environment Protection Agency SPRI web-site. This note is related to completing the SPRI return form and also gives general advice on determining emissions released from industrial sites. Technical guidance notes are scheduled for development over the next two years covering inter alia the sector industry interests of combustion, petroleum, metals, cement, lime, incineration, paper/pulp, and chemicals. The guidance has been produced by SEPA with the principal objective of helping operators submit returns concerning their annual mass emissions to air and water.
