Background

SEPA's original enforcement policy was first drafted soon after SEPA was created in 1996. Since that time the concepts of better regulation (more details here) have been devised. SEPA supports the concepts of better regulation and has revised the enforcement policy to reflect this. The revised document sets out our enforcement philosophy and principles when enforcement will be used
