This Code of Practicehas been produced as a result of the withdrawal of the former Code of Practice published by the Scottish Executive. Whilst basically unchanged, SEPA has taken this opportunity to bring the Code up to date and compliant with the Water Framework Directive as transposed into Scots Law by the Water Environment and Water Services (Scotland) Act 2003 and the Water Environment (Controlled Activities) (Scotland) Regulations 2005.
