Cross Border Advisory Group
The Cross Border Advisory Group (CBAG) ensures co-ordination of
preliminary flood risk assessments (National Flood Risk
Assessment), flood risk and hazard maps and flood risk management
plans between areas in Scotland and England. Provisions for
cross border co-ordination can be found in the Flood Risk (Cross
Border Area) Regulations 2010. The role of CBAG is to
consider how the impact of flood risk on one side of the border
between Scotland and England is affected by actions or the absence
of action on the other side of the border.
Members of CBAG are organisations involved in the delivery of
flood risk management plans. For more information on CBAG
please contact Heather Forbes, Senior Policy Officer (CBAG
coordinator): frmplanning@sepa.org.uk
