Floodline Warnings Direct

Are you ready to take action during a flood?

It is your responsibility to take action and protect your property from flooding, but help and support are available.

SEPA is launching a new service in spring 2011 called Floodline Warnings Direct. This service will send messages free of charge, to registered landlines and mobiles, about flooding in areas covered by our Flood Warning Schemes. It will guide members of the public to the Floodline recorded telephone service or the website for more detailed information.

Remember, even if you are not close to a river or the sea, a nearby blocked drain or roadside ditch could cause localised flooding. Your employees could suffer flooding of their own properties, or roads and transport links could affect access routes to work. Are you ready to take action?

We have now produced the first newsletter designed to give you the latest information on flood warning and informing improvements in your area, which you can download below.
