Introduction

Groundwater and the Storage and Handling of Chemicals Pic The storage and transfer of chemicals carries a risk of spillages and leaks. Groundwater is at risk of pollution if the chemical is mobile and if there is a route of entry. The best way to protect groundwater is to prevent leaks and spills. In such an event, however, appropriate containment and collection can still prevent groundwater contamination.
