SEPA'S WEST BOARD MEETS
IN EAST KILBRIDE

The Board of the Scottish Environment Protection Agency’s (SEPA) West Region will meet in East Kilbride on Friday May 23rd at 10am. The venue will be West Region HQ, Rivers House, Murray Road, East Kilbride.

The Board’s custom is to meet in different locations within the Region, to give Board members an opportunity to become familiar with the Region and to provide an opportunity for local people to attend the meetings. The previous meeting was held in Ayr.

The agenda for the East Kilbride meeting will include: a summary report of SEPA’s role in relation to the culverting of watercourses; finance report; and ‘The New Contaminated Land Regime and its Practical Implications for SEPA’ - a presentation by Calum MacDonald, Divisional Manager North.
