SEPA's West Board meets in Motherwell

The Board of the Scottish Environment Protection Agencys (SEPA) West Region will meet in Motherwell on Friday 24 October 1997 at 10am. The venue will be North Lanarkshire Council Offices, Civic Centre, Motherwell ML1 1TW.
The Boards custom is to meet in different locations within the Region, to give Board members an opportunity to become familiar with the Region and to provide an opportunity for local people to attend the meetings. The previous meeting was held in Lochgilphead.
The agenda for the Motherwell meeting will include: a report on the diversion and culverting of watercourses; an update on SEPAs role in the forthcoming clean up of the Holy Loch; and the A74(M) with regard to Crown Immunity and the Control of Pollution Act. This is in addition to regular agenda items including the Directors Report, Financial Report, and Environmental Licences Granted and Applications Received.
