SEPA Grant in Aid

Issued on 12 Nov 1999

Alasdair Paton, Chief Executive of the Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA) has welcomed the Scottish Executive's announcement of the SEPA budget for the year 2000-01.
"We believe that this is a fair settlement. The additional £1m will allow us to take forward a number of pressing issues, not least the National Waste Strategy: Scotland, which will be published in December and which will be the basis of a more sustainable approach to waste management in Scotland."
