The Board of the Scottish Environment Protection Agencys (SEPA) West Region will meet in Kilmarnock on Friday 19 February 1999 at 9.30am. The venue will be East Ayrshire Council Offices, London Road, Kilmarnock.
The Boards custom is to meet in different locations within the Region, to give Board members an opportunity to become familiar with the Region and to provide an opportunity for local people to attend the meetings. The previous meeting was held in East Kilbride.
The agenda for the Kilmarnock meeting will include: the West Region Third Quarter Performance Against Targets; SEPAs Review of Science - the Implications for West Region; and the final draft of the West Region Business Plan 1999/2000. This is in addition to regular agenda items including the Directors Progress Report on current regional issues, Financial Report, and Environmental Licences Granted and Applications Received.
Press and members of the public are welcome to attend this meeting. The Regional Solicitors report will be heard in private session as it contains details of cases currently referred for prosecution.
