SEPA West Region Board Meets at Loch Lomond

The Board of the Scottish Environment Protection Agency’s (SEPA) West Region will meet at Loch Lomond on Friday 18 June 1999 at 10am. The venue will be the Mallard Suite, Duck Bay Hotel & Marina, Loch Lomond.

The Board’s custom is to meet in different locations within the Region, to give Board members an opportunity to become familiar with the Region and to provide an opportunity for local people to attend the meetings. The previous meeting was held in Kilmarnock.

The agenda for the Loch Lomond meeting will include: a report on Infectious Salmon Anaemia; an update on the M6 motorway upgrade; and an update on the Clean Up of the Holy Loch. This is in addition to regular agenda items including the Director’s Progress Report on current regional issues, Financial Report, and Environmental Licences Granted and Applications Received.

Press and members of the public are welcome to attend this meeting. The Regional Solicitor’s report will be heard in private session as it contains details of cases currently referred for prosecution
