The Monamy Trust

The Monamy Trust aims to:

  • alleviation of poverty generally, and among homeless and unemployed persons;
  • research into the causes of poverty;
  • conservation and protection of the environment;
  • promotion of good race relations;
  • alleviation of suffering and care for those with disability or infirmity;
  • rehabilitation of former prisoners and relief of stress among prisoners’ families;
  • educational activity associated with peace and non-violence.

Grant application forms can be obtained from the Trust Administrator at the address below. Trustees meet twice a year in March and September to award grants.  Completed applications must be received by the end of February and August respectively to be considered.  Being a small trust it would like to use money where it would make the most difference – particularly in small local organisations.  Each case will be based on its merits.
