Welcome to The Network

It seems like no time at all since the last Network update and, as predicted, it’s been a hectic couple of months. Recycle for Scotland week ran from 18th to 25th October and raised the national profile of waste awareness; Scotland’s third Waste Industry Conference and Awards Dinner on the 5th and 6th October brought together experts from across the UK, and honoured those excelling in their field: funding continued to be awarded to a number of Scottish local authorities; and a range of events and activities took place near you! It’s been a busy time, but that’s nothing compared to what’s planned for the coming months and the run up to Christmas!

Waste Aware Scotland Update

The Scottish Waste Aware Group (SWAG) continues to work with local authorities across Scotland to deliver ‘reduce, reuse and recycle’ messages.
