A position statement on culverting of watercoursess to take account of SEPA's new duties and responsibilities under the Water Environment (Controlled Activities) (Scotland) Regulations 2005 can be accessed here
SEPA works closely in conjunction with some external organisations when
carrying out its duties.Therefore SEPA has entered into several Memoranda
of Understanding with such organisations, where roles and responsiblilties
require clarification in specific areas of co-operation.
