Introduction
An undertaking was made in 1999, when the PPC charging scheme was introduced, that the scheme would be reviewed when all industries were transferred into the scheme and the full impact of the regulations was understood. The full implementation of the regulations will be completed in 2007 when the final group of activities will be integrated into the PPC scheme.
The PPC Stakeholders Group meets on a regular basis and will now discuss and contribute towards the PPC charging scheme review process. This site will track the progress of the review process up until the deadline for the implementation of a new charging scheme in April 2009.
Information which can be found on this site currently includes meeting minutes, scheduled meeting dates, and a list of the members of the PPC stakeholders group. Further additions to this site will include a list and summary of consultations, pre-meeting papers, and some links to relevant sites.
