This guidance note has not been adopted for use in Scotland. In Scotland the note should be used for information only and does not constitute statutory guidance with regard to activities subject to control by SEPA.

SEPA therefore instructs operators of installations covered by this note to use the Practical Guide for Part A Activities as primary guidance document. If you are in any doubt about the guidance you should be consulting contact your local SEPA office.
