Environment Agencies' statement and guidance on Radioactive
Waste Advisers
The Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA), the
Environment Agency (EA) and the Northern Ireland Environment Agency
(NIEA) have issued a statement and joint guidance on Radioactive
Waste Advisers.
The statement specifies how we comply with our legal obligations
and how a UK-wide scheme will be implemented for the formal
recognition of Radioactive Waste Advisers.
The guidance provides help for those wanting to be recognised as
Radioactive Waste Advisers and for those who need to appoint
Radioactive Waste Advisers. The guidance and syllabus will be
amended and updated as necessary as the Radioactive Waste Adviser
scheme develops.
