South West Scotland: Water quality

Our 1999 report Improving Scotland's Water Environment describes the general condition of Scotland's rivers, lochs and estuaries and coastal waters. The report is a valuable source of environmental water data in the West of Scotland, providing detailed information on water quality, river flows, monitoring activities and environmental initiatives.
