Dear all, several users have reported issues with read-in of conductivity data by both file and copy/paste routes. RICT support is currently tracking the problem down and we hope to have a solution shortly.

In the meantime we ask users to transform their conductivity data into alkalinity BEFORE input. This can be achieved by using the same equation that RICT uses for transforming conductivity which is reproduced on pg 35 (section 9.5) of the RICT Functional Specification (available in the documentation section of the home page.). The equation is:

ALK = 0.3201*CONDUCT -8.0593

Transformed data is then entered via the alkalinity column of the copy/paste spreadsheet or via file upload.
