Monitoring Strategy

Regulation 31 of the Producers' Responsibility Obligations (Packaging Waste) Regulations 2007 places a duty on SEPA to monitor compliance with the regulations in Scotland.  Regulation 32 requires SEPA to publish a plan which outlines the monitoring policy and strategy for each year.

SEPA's Monitoring Plan

This Monitoring Strategy contains the information requested by Regulation 32. In addition, SEPA also takes this opportunity to report on other relevant activities carried out during the year, in particular the duties associated with the accreditation of reprocessors and exporters.
