Clyde

The Clyde advisory group area includes all of the land that drains into several large rivers, including the rivers Clyde, Ayr, Irvine, Leven and the Kelvin, the coastline out into the Firth of Clyde which includes the sea lochs, Cowal peninsula, Islands of Bute and Arran and groundwater which provides flow for many of the areas rivers.

The Clyde Area Advisory Group comprises the representatives of the key stakeholders and responsible authorities for river basin management planning in the area. They hold regular meetings and have developed a supplementary plan for the implementation of the river basin management plan for the Scotland river basin district.

Meetings and minutes

The Clyde Area Advisory Group meets twice a year. The group provides a mechanism to support the delivery of river basin planning in the Clyde advisory group area and to co-ordinate river basin planning with other plans and programmes.

Future meetings

The full Clyde Area Advisory Group meets in June and December each year.

Details of future meetings, groups that are actively helping to deliver river basin planning objectives and the task groups set up for delivery can be found on the advisory group work plan.

Previous meetings

Agenda, minutes, papers and presentations from the four previous meetings of Clyde Area Advisory Group are available online. Minutes of other meetings can be accessed by contacting the coordinator.
