Clyde
SEPA is holding three evening seminars throughout May and June.
The aim of the events is to introduce river basin planning and to
help you to respond to the consultation. For more information on
the events and how to book, please download our
flyer
.
The chair of each Area Advisory Group (AAG) is supported by a
river basin planning co-ordinator.
The co-ordinator and first point of contact for the Clyde
AAG is:
Name: Katriona Finan
Email: katriona.finan@sepa.org.uk
Office: Perth
Tel.: 01738 448809
Getting involved
The consultation on the draft river basin management plan will
begin on 22 December 2008.
This is your opportunity to get involved in the basin planning
process in your area. Of particular relevance to you will be
the Clyde area management plan, providing local detail on the
health of the water environment in the Clyde and how it can be
maintained, and where necessary, improved.
The draft river basin management plan and the Clyde area
management plan can be viewed on the RBMP home page
Please note that the deadline for responding to the consultation
is 22nd June. Where possible, please respond by 22 March 2009
either in full or at least in the form of a summary setting out
your principal comments and suggestions. This will help us plan the
work we need to do to finalise the plan during the spring and
summer of next year
Any queries, please contact the Clyde co-ordinator.
