The River Invertebrates Classification Tool (RICT) was developed by the three UK environmental agencies to classify the ecological quality of rivers.
Please access the user guides and frequently asked questions by logging into RICT.
Dear all, thanks for your patience. As you’ll have doubtless noted, RICT has been back up and running for a while now and is happily running the new UKTAG invertebrate Methodology. The upgrade took somewhat longer than we expected. However, the new functionality has been successfully implemented.
As ever contact us via firstname.lastname@example.org if you encounter problems
**Please note that RICT is designed as a data processing rather than a storage service – you may lose run data in the event of a system malfunction or other event. Therefore you are advised to download any critical files/data once your run has finished.**
The Freshwater Biological Association (FBA) run RICT training courses
