The River Invertebrate Classification Tool (RICT) was developed by the three UK environmental agencies to classify the ecological quality of rivers.
Please access the user guides and frequently asked questions by logging into RICT.
Dear all. We are pleased to announce that from the 01/04/2020 the new version of RICT will be up and running, and therefore this version will be unavailable. The new version is a significant advance in processing capability and speed, and will hugely improve the user experience.
In the meantime thank you for using RICT, and see you on the new system. Full support and user instructions will be available on the new site which will be live at the beginning of April.
**Please note that RICT is designed as a data processing rather than a storage service – you may lose run data in the event of a system malfunction or other event. Therefore you are advised to download any critical files/data once your run has finished.**
The Freshwater Biological Association (FBA) run RICT training courses
