The River Invertebrate Classification Tool (RICT) was developed by the three UK environmental agencies to classify the ecological quality of rivers.
Please access the user guides and frequently asked questions by logging into RICT.
We are pleased to announce that the issues users were experiencing with RICT have been resolved and the service is available once again.
Dear users, we are planning to introduce new beta functionality to RICT reports. This will allow you to download all the output reports with one press of a handy “Download all Reports” button. We anticipate that this upgrade will take place on 14 September 2017.
As previously mentioned this is beta functionality. Please use firstname.lastname@example.org to give us any feedback you may have.
**Please note that RICT is designed as a data processing rather than a storage service – you may lose run data in the event of a system malfunction or other event. Therefore you are advised to download any critical files/data once your run has finished.**
The Freshwater Biological Association (FBA) run RICT training courses
