Groundwater
This type of flooding is caused by water rising up from underlying rocks or flowing from springs. Groundwater is generally a contributing factor to flooding rather than the primary source. The Water Environment (Oil Storage) (Scotland) Regulations 2006 have been revoked. The provisions of these Regulations are now in the Water Environment (Controlled Activities) (Scotland) Regulations 2011 (as amended).
The oil storage requirements remain the same except for the following:
